Workflow Automation

Pipelines that keep running without me.

Workflow automation is most of what I do: the reports, handovers and routine steps that eat a team's week. I run a distribution business, Vimal Electric Corporation, and it is where I try everything first. Its 11-person team automated reporting, stock tracking and the path from order to dispatch, and by my own rough estimate saves roughly 800 to 900 hours a month.

The posts here are about how that work actually goes. Why a daily report sent to WhatsApp gets read when the old one did not. Why I chose self-hosted n8n, so client data never leaves systems they control. Why connecting systems is easy and cleaning their data is not. And why every automation I run emails me when it fails, because the dangerous failure is always the silent one.

Working together

Got something like this to automate?

I take on a small number of builds at a time, as ongoing engagements with a defined scope rather than one-off tasks. If you have a process that is costing your team real hours every week, tell me what it is and I will tell you straight whether it is worth automating.
